Washtenaw County Conservation District

Staff meeting

A five-member board of directors governs the Washtenaw County Conservation District. Members are elected by residents of the District at its annual meeting. Directors serve four-year terms, are non-salaried, and receive a meeting allowance and reimbursement for mileage and actual expenses only.

The Board is responsible for the development and implementation of all District programs, financial management, organizational oversight and directs long-term strategic planning. The Board meets monthly to hear reports from staff, plan programs and activities, approve bills and financial plans.

Current Board of Directors

The Board meets on the fourth Thursday of each month at 6:00 pm in the Conference Room on the second floor, adjacent to the District Office, 705 N. Zeeb Rd, Suite 201, Ann Arbor, Michigan, with these exceptions:

  • November and December, which will be on the third Thursday of the month due to holiday conflicts.

All meetings of the District Board are open to the public, and time is allotted for public comment. If you would like to attend virtually, please click this Zoom link to attend at the time of the meeting.  

Compliant with the ADA Title II, we are able to provide accommodations using remote meeting technology for members of the public with mobility, visual, and/or hearing-impairments to attend meetings virtually.  If individuals requiring ADA accommodations need further assistance, they should notify the District Office prior to attending a meeting at: ed.wccd@macd.org or (734) 302-8715.
