The WCCD staff has the expertise to assist landowners with the conservation and management of their natural resources or we connect you with partner organizations.  The Conservation District partners with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service.

Farmer Programs Team

This team supports the many programs and technical assistance including NRCS Farm Bill Program Assistance, MAEAP, Farmer cost-share and more.

Michigan Climate Smart Farms Program

This team is developing and coordinating the Michigan Climate Smart Farms Program. 

Residential Programs Team

The Residential program team supports many programs including Plant & Resources Sales, Education programs like the Land Toolkit, School & Community Habitat Grant, and the Tool & Equipment Lending Library.

Transition to Organic Partnership Program (TOPP) Team

​Assembled by the USDA’s National Organic Program, TOPP is designed to support transitioning and organic producers with mentorship and resources.​
