Tractor Tire Drive

We are happy to bring our residents the annual Tractor Tire Drive event! 

We partner with Washtenaw County Materials Management Division to collect agricultural tires from all over Washtenaw County.  Since it’s inception, this tire drive has collected over 500 tractor tires from the agricultural community, preventing them from leaching chemicals into groundwater and reducing the breeding grounds for mosquitoes.   

If you are interested in this free service in future years, subscribe to our monthly newsletter for updates on this and other events as they approach.  While we are unable to accept automotive tires, there are several events throughout the year that can. Events can be found through Manchester, Bridgewater, and Dexter Townships, also Public works hosts a County Cleanup day event that accepts automotive tires.
