  • Fall Tree & Native Plant Sale - new offerings!

    The annual Fall Tree & Native Plant Sale opened on August 4!
    Now offering even more variety of potted native wildflowers, grasses, garden kits, trees, shrubs, berries and more! Also available are bulk bare-root conifers and planting aids. Order online or by paper form by Sept 15, and pick-up on Friday, Sept 26!

  • WCCD at Work: Doug Reith

    If you've ever picked up a native plant, a rain barrel, or a no-till drill from the Washtenaw County Conservation District (WCCD), chances are Doug Reith was involved. As WCCD's Resource Specialist, Doug supervises and coordinates a wide array of programs that help residents conserve soil, water, and wildlife—right in their backyards and communities.

    Our 6th Native Plant Expo & Marketplace has continued to exceed expectations with over 2486 attendees enjoying plant sales, getting free plants and seeds, learning from a myriad of organizations, enjoying food trucks, music, and kids activities. We're grateful to continue offering this gift to the community and for it to be received so whole-heartedly!

  • Spring Tree & Shrub Sale: Success!

    Another year, another amazing Spring Tree & Shrub Sale full of surprises, challenges, and successes! We sold and distributed over 37,225 plants to their forever homes with over 950 customers, collectively creating more landscapes that are more bio-diverse, edible, and beautiful!

    We'll have up to 100 of most all our species, and many planting aids. No guarantees of what is available in advance. We will sell all first-come first-serve, so come early to get in line! Shed D at the Farm Council grounds.
