News

  • Post Event Review: WCCD's Agricultural Plastics Collection Event

WCCD recently held an agricultural plastics recycling collection event which provided farmers with a convenient opportunity to drop off used agricultural plastics, such as silage tarps and bale wrap, for proper recycling. Participants were able to divert large volumes of difficult-to-manage plastic materials away from landfills and on-farm burning. Organizers view the event as a step toward building a more permanent and accessible recycling system for agricultural plastics in the region.
