  • Seed Smarter with Our New Bag Seeder

    We've added a portable bag seeder to our tool rental program! Ideal for planting cover crops, native grasses, and wildflowers, this lightweight seeder is perfect for small-acreage projects. Visit the Washtenaw Tool Bank Collective website to learn more or reserve.

  • Cut (out) the lawn with our new Sod Kicker

    The latest addition to the Washtenaw Tool Bank Collective arsenal is the "Kick-type sod cutter", the perfect tool to transform the lawn into more gardens for native plants, flowers, or vegetables! This tool is more nimble than the power options, and very effective and efficient. Reserve it in advance!

  • Shrubby workday? We've got Loppers!

    Pruning your landscape plants or removing invasive shrubs? Thanks to a donation from Isabella Shehab from UofM SEAS, We now offer 6 high quality bypass loppers through the Washtenaw Tool Bank Collective! They cut up to 2" branches and are free to borrow. See all the tools available for conservation and farming purposes.

  • Fruit tree grafting kit now available

    We now offer a Grafting Pruner Tool kit intended for scion and rootstock between 1/6" - 1/2" in diameter to perform various grafts. This tool and many others are available to borrow from the Washtenaw Tool Bank Collective.
