Want to give your input on the work we do at WCCD? Want to help shape the direction of our Farmer Programs and conservation within the county? Then volunteer and join WCCD’s Farmer Committee. For over 78 years WCCD has been working with county landowners and producers in conserving our natural resources and farmers have been as a part of our leadership every step of the way. Currently, we have three farmers serving on our Board of Directors but are always looking for those willing to fill in vacant positions or simply give their input. There will always be a need for farmer participation in WCCD and with our Farmer Committee, we are looking to strengthen it. There are minimum requirements to be a member of the committee you must simply be a farmer and be willing to attend a one hour meeting every three months.
