There is a five-member Board of Directors that governs the Washtenaw County Conservation District. We’ve had directors who have served for decades and others for just a few years. But one thing they have all had in common is a deep concern for farming, conservation, and our natural resources. We will have two vacancies in 2026 and would love to see your name on the ballot.
Not sure if you would want the job but are curious about how WCCD operates? I invite you to attend one of our monthly board meetings. You could even volunteer to be an Associate Director where you can still give guidance and advice but won’t have voting privileges. It’s a great way to see if you want to make the commitment to being a full-time Director.
Elections will take place in June of 2026.
