Wayne Oliver, Jr. is married to Julie L. with five children, has had a life long passion for nature, is an avid birdwatcher and gardener.

He is a Michigan Master Naturalist through MSU, and is the founder of River Bend Gardens, a 65 acre private botanical garden located in the Village of Manchester, that is focused on preserving and restoring native Michigan plants in their natural communities.

Wayne is veteran of the United States Air Force.  He graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, and from Lawrence Technological University with his Master of Science Degree in Industrial Operations.

Professionally Wayne has been a finance executive in manufacturing with private equity for the past twenty years, and is currently the Chief Financial Officer of the MOPEC Group, the largest manufacturer of pathology and anatomy equipment for hospitals, laboratories, and universities in North America.
