Our beloved WCCD Outreach & Volunteer Coordinator, Dru Mark-Wilson, is leaving the WCCD in early January. She will be starting her student-teaching 3rd grade in January to fulfill her final step in her Education degree.
Since she started over 3 years ago, she has had a profound impact on the development of most all of the WCCD programs, events, and built the volunteer program to new levels, with many enduring relationships. Dru's contributions grew the distributions with smoother volunteer coordination and processes, and she brought the fun with her energy and collaborative volunteer playlist! Her career within the conservation field has provided her with many skills which she used to provide great service over the years, and worked behind the scenes to improve the WCCD outreach/marketing processes.
Dru has always brought bright enthusiasm, ideas, and humor to the work. We're sad to see her go, but glad to support her on her career path. We wish the best for you onwards, Dru!
If you want to send Dru a thank you, you can reach her at: dru@washtenawcd.org.
- Dru your enthusiasm is contagious and appreciated!
- I also felt very appreciated by Doug and Dru.
- My experience couldn’t have been better. Dru [and team] were wonderfully organized, helpful and cheerful.
Send some love to Dru before January 3rd. We'll forward any personal messages on to her after then.
We'll be hiring a new position in January. Reach out to us if you have any questions!
